David Henderson is currently employed as a visiting professor at the University of Westminster in the UK.

In 2002, Henderson wrote a book that was published by the Institute of Economic Affairs titled, Misguided Virtue: False Notions of Corporate Social Responsibility (pdf).
Henderson wrote another book that was published by the Institute for Economic Affairs titled, Anti-Liberalism 2000: The Rise of New Millennium Collectivism.
Both books argue against the idea of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Institute of Economic Affairs is a UK-based freemarket think tank.
According to Exxon Secrets, a registered charity was set up in the US called the "American Friends of the Institute for Economic Affairs," to allow for US companies to donate to the UK-based IEA. The IEA has received $50,000 from ExxonMobil through their American Friends organization.
David Henderson and the Competitive Enterprise Institute
In 2004, a DC-based think tank called the Competitive Enterprise Institute published the US version of Henderson's book titled, The Role of Business in the Modern World . The book makes the argument that, "... an array of activists, international bureaucrats, and business theorists have been trying to force large corporations to adopt humanitarian priorities that go 'beyond profits.'"
