DeSmog Weekly TV - Exclusive Interview with Dr. Michael Mann

climate tv, climatetv

UPDATE: Here’s the archive of this week’s DeSmog Weekly on Climate TV with Dr. Michael Mann and Brad Johnson.

This week on Climate TV’s DeSmog Weekly program I had the pleasure of interviewing top climate scientist, and Real Climate blogger, Dr. Michael Mann, along with Brad Johnson, Researcher and blogger at the Center for American Progress.

As most DeSmog regulars know already, Dr. Mann has been at the center of many attacks by the climate deniers and conspiracy theorists. We talk about that and much more.

The interview will run tomorrow at 4pm pacific, 7pm eastern here on Climate TV. I will be on throughout the interview taking comments.

See you then!

If you haven’t seen our new show on Climate TV, here’s an archived show to give you an idea of what we are up to:

DeSmog Weekly TV - Live tomorrow at 7pm eastern (4pm pacific)

Tune in tomorrow as we host our second of hopefully many weekly live shows on Climate TV.

Tomorrow I want to cover off some of latest news and analysis happening around the attack on climate science, especially in the United States where the mainstream media have completely missed the boat on Climategate, when the UK government concluded no wrongdoing on the part of the climate scientist at the middle of the controversy, Phil Jones.

We are also going to have on a special guest, Karl Burkart, blogger on Mother Nature Network, internet strategist and Executive Producer of the Planet 100 Show on Planet Green. We will be talking with Karl about the Mountains Rule Campaign to end Mountain Top Removal (MTR).

Not only is the show run live in high-definition, it is also totally interactive - meaning that viewers can weigh in with questions and comments throughout the show for us to discuss and respond. It will be a lot of fun, so please jump on to Climate TV here at 7pm eastern (4pm pacific) tomorrow, Wednesday, April 7th.

If you missed the inaugural show last week, you can go to the Climate TV archive and check it out.

Also, would love to hear from anyone about ideas for upcoming shows. And since we turned off comments on DeSmog due to a troll infestation, you can email me at: desmogblog [at] gmail [dot] com.

DeSmog TV Live in HD at 10am pacific today

[Editor’s note: here’s the archived video of DeSmog’s Live TV show]

Check out our pilot edition of DeSmog TV today on Climate TV. The show is live with yours truly as host.

The best part is that the show, being run on Climate TV, is interactive and you’ll be able to ask questions and make comments in real time.

We will be talking today with Kert Davies, Director of Research at Greenpeace USA, about a new report out yesterday on Koch Industries and their heavy investment in the climate misinformation echo chamber. We will also discuss the breaking news out of the UK House of Commons exonerating Dr. Phil Jones.

The show is live today at 10am pacific, 1pm eastern. The show will be archived and I’ll post it here later, but check out the live show because I will probably have a few copies of Climate Cover Up on hand as giveaways.

Climate Crock Live and Interactive With Peter Sinclair Tonight

I’m involved in a cool new project called Climate TV - it’s a live and interactive online television channel focusing on bringing the personalities, authors, filmmaker, pundits, policy experts, campaigners and politicians around the issue of climate change live to your computer where you can interact and ask questions in real time.

The premiere edition airs tonight (Thursday, March 25) on this Climate TV Channel at 6pm pacific, 9pm eastern time.

The show will feature Climate Crock of the Week video producer, Peter Sinclair.

We will be airing one of Sinclair’s recent Climate Crock Episodes and then there will be a live Q and A discussion with Peter afterward, where viewers can ask questions and add their thoughts to the conversation.

Here’s the video Peter will be airing and discussing live tonight. See you tonight!
