The Central for Industrial Progress was founded by Alex Epstein, also a blogger at Master Resource the "Free Market Energy Blog," and a past fellow of the Ayn Rand Institute.

According to their website, the BMI "advocates policies that promote entrepreneurial initiative, creativity, innovation and competition." [1]

Background

The Ayn Rand Institute (ARI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Irvine, California. According to ARI's website, it "works to introduce young people to Ayn Rand’s novels, to support scholarship and research based on her ideas, and to promote the principles of reason, rational self-interest, individual rights and laissez-faire capitalism to the widest possible audience." Background

Europäisches Institut für Klima und Energie (EIKE), the European Institute for Climate and Energy in English, is a German group of climate change skeptics founded in February 2007 in Hanover.

The organization's motto is "Nicht das Klima ist bedroht, sondern unsere Freiheit! Umweltschutz: Ja! Klimaschutz: Nein," or "Not the climate is at risk, but our freedom! Environmental protection: Yes! Climate protection: No."
