ExxonMobil Gets Religion on Climate Change -- $2.32 Million Worth

A recent statement by evangelical Christians downplaying the potential problems of global climate change includes eight signers whose six organizations have received a total of $2.32 million in donations from ExxonMobil over the last three years.

A relative of mine, who attends an off-brand Christian church, quoted
standard global warming denial stuff to me. When he explained that 1/2 of world glaciers are growing I said “That’s a lie and I know the name of the liar.”
It took me a while to find out that the ISA related Christians are sending material to pastors to preach denial.
So Exxon Mobil’s strategy of using churches to preach corporate lies is very effective.
