Huffington Post takes aim at Inhofe "the Social Dinosaur"

Corporate dinosaur or caveman?Uber-blog, Huffington Post, has a great piece today on Senator James Inhofe's latest tirade against the realities of climate change.

Most memorable Inhofe quote:

"I want to challenge the news media to reverse course and report on the objective science of climate change, stop ignoring legitimate voices in this scientific debate, and stop being used by the hysterical left," said Inhofe. "Breaking the cycles of media hysteria will not be easy since hysteria sells and it is very profitable, but I really believe the issue is getting worn out."

The only thing worn out is Inhofe's views on climate change. As the evidence of human-induced climate change mounts, Inhofe, Chair of the Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works, continues to keeps his head well-buried in the sand. Not surprising when you consider that Inhofe's sub-committee on climate change chooses to play host to the testimony of the likes of Bjorn Lomborg, James Connaughton, Michael Crichton, William Gray, and Heartland Institute's Joseph Bast.

Senator Jim Inhofe is one of the finest politicians in Washington. If you took time to talk to him you would realize that fact. Just because he does not agree with your leftist agenda doesn't mean he's wrong.
I believe that any global temperature changes are the result of cyclical natural changes.

Inhofe doesn't have his head in the sand! It's up his ass.

About the climate cover-up

About the climate cover-up

Democracy is utterly dependent upon an electorate that is accurately informed. In promoting climate change denial (and often denying their responsibility for doing so) industry has done more than endanger the environment. It has undermined democracy.

There is a vast difference between putting forth a point of view, honestly held, and intentionally sowing the seeds of confusion. Free speech does not include the right to deceive. Deception is not a point of view. And the right to disagree does not include a right to intentionally subvert the public awareness.
