IF there was a prize for the most esoteric and stratospherically "out there" theory against human caused climate change, then surely Thomas Watson would be in line for this particular gong.
In an interview in January for the US-based internet radio show "It's Rainmaking Time", this 83-year-old Australian from Victoria told presenter Kim Greenhouse that carbon dioxide had nothing to do with climate change and that instead, natural variations in "magnetism" were responsible.

Nigel Lawson - Fractally wrong regarding the climate
Nigel Lawson's son-in-law is Lord Monckhausen of bullshit.
Both have a problem with facts. I have never noticed either of them get a single fact regarding the climate correct.
I've even heard Lawson arguing with a climatologist from the MetOffice, he was wrong on all counts.
Both could be described as fractally wrong regarding the climate - wrong at every conceivable level.
Pell exposes his own moral bankruptcy
Pell's speech is worth reading because it exposes the moral bankruptcy of the climate change denial movement .
"In essence, this is the moral dimension to this issue. The cost of attempts to make global warming go away will be very heavy. They may be levied initially on “the big polluters” but they will eventually trickle down to the end-users. Efforts to offset the effects on the vulnerable are well intentioned but history tells us they can only ever be partially successful."
Astonishing for a churchman to claim the moral dimension can be boiled down to such few words. And to him it's all about filthy lucre.
Flat earth
Lawson's climate deception outfit has been caught deceiving the public. That is a matter of record.
Well I'm not going to try prove that the earth isn't flat and I'm not going to bother proving Lawson's opinions and claims about the cilmate are bogus. These things are self-evident.
IIRC Lawson claimed the Earth is cooling and that the stolen emails somehow cast deep suspicion on climate science. I can't remember the precise details. The recording was on BBC Radio 4 and Lawson was arguing with a MetOffice scientist. It might have been Dr Pope. Lawson has no climate science credentials.
Lawson is clearly very arrogant and a Dunning-Kruger afflictee.
That's all you're going to get.
