Love Your Opinion; Any Facts to Back it Up?
This letter to the editor of the Canada Free Press website came in response to a piece from Dr. Tim Ball. The writer says:
"I read many of your articles on Canada Free Press and made a donation to NRSP.
"It would be great if there was somewhere you footnoted or documented your articles, like “Global Warming: The Cold, Hard Facts?” I am constantly in arguments with everyone I know about this issue and I would like to site to the science, articles, or to graphs and charts that support the statements and positions you take."
It makes you wonder why the guy sends money if he (like us) is not convinced that Ball has any science to back up his religious (or industrial) conviction that climate change is no worries.

It's about winning arguments.
It seems to me he has chosen to believe Ball, and is now seeking evidence to support his belief. He probably finds that the people he argues with keep producing these inconvenient facts and citations which refute Ball.
He's not seeking enlightenment; he's looking for ways to win arguments. And I thought that even before I saw what his profession was. :)
Where should he send $$?
Why bother with evidence?

You wanna hear a good one
Ball went around talking to all the residents telling them that the damage wasn’t as bad as people thought and listen to him because he knew all about building envelopes.
When it came to the vote, Ball convinced enough people that the decision failed and Ball won. Nothing was done and the damage that could have been stopped in the short term, was put off.
Fast forward two years to the punchline: Since the initial damage was never fixed because Ball denied the reality of the leaking building, even though experts in the field were saying they should be concerned (sound familiar), the problem went from a little one to a MASSIVE one and now everyone in the building is facing $100,000 each to repair the damage. I’m not making this up, heard it straight from one his neighbors, who obviously hate Balls’ guts.
