Matt Drudge Links His Way to Global Warming Fantasy Land

Right-wing webman Matt Drudge has an interesting group of links on the front page of Drudge Report today, as first reported (and thoroughly debunked) on the Wonk Room blog.

The Wonk Room writes:

Drudge has strung together a climate-denier myth, a poorly reported story about the financial crisis, and a report about how developing nations are under the threat of climate change to give support to his right-wing fantasy world. The rest of us, however, live in the real world.”

Wow. So you’ve brilliantly discovered a radical left-wing blog that doesn’t like what Drudge has to say.

I’ll bet you need a nap, after that exertion.

Your dog probably belongs to the “radical” left too, rob. I mean, if everything’s “radical”, then the word “radical” doesn’t mean very much.

Problems caused by climate change are likely already dangerous and global warming may be irreversible, according to a draft science report by a United Nations committee.

The Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change (IPCC) report, leaked earlier this week to a number of major media organizations, said continued greenhouse gas emissions caused primarily by burning oil, coal and natural gas will probably increase the likelihood of  “severe, pervasive and irreversible impacts for people and ecosystems.”
