The former U.S. vice president will descend on Victoria September 29, then cross the Georgia Strait for an engagement that evening in Vancouver. After his address, expected to focus on daily actions to combat climate change, the audience will be treated to high tea at the venerable Empress Hotel.

It's frightening how easy it is to present a computer-assisted lie,  especially if you have no conscience about faking things like climate reconstruction graphs. It's also frightening that such a piece of fakery can find its way into the school system of a G8 country.

This graph was created by a German high school teacher named E.G. Beck. It's based on information that is more out of date than a Tim Patterson solar forcing graph, and is manipulated to specifically misrepresent both the scale and the recent climate curve.

The assembly of 16 of the world’s largest cities and five banks also includes ex-President Bill Clinton, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and several corporations. Strange how Al Gore and Bill Clinton are blamed for scientific forecasts.  The skeptics have to twist themselves out of shape to ignore the findings of more than 2,000 scientists from 100 countries who have agreed since 1995 that weather extremes are the first marker of early-stage global warming!
